Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems is comonly referred to as synthetic stucco or Dryvit, and was developed in the 1950’s for the rebuilding of Europe after WWII.

EIFS has evolved and there are now over a dozen manufacturers with the most prominent being Dryvit, Senergy, Sto, and Parex.
